In the market for over 30 years and privately owned, Selco delivers solutions for reciprocating compressors and precision machining.

Headquartered in Sao Bernardo do Campo, Brazil, our 43,000-square- foot facility with modern machinery and equipment holds a staff of over 160 employees.

Selco seeks to fully meet client needs by means of long-term partnerships. To do so, the company invests in research and development, employee training, and continuing process improvements. As a result, Selco has experienced a steady growth over the years.

HISTORY

1984

Begins operations by manufacturing seals for reciprocating compressors.

1992

Begins manufacturing products for the automotive industry.

1996

Starts large scale exports for the automotive industry.

2000

Acquires HYDROAR industrial assets, a Brazilian company with over 40 years of experience in the reciprocating compressor parts market.

2001

Acquires valve technology from A. IBACH, a German company with over 100 years of experience in the reciprocating compressor parts market. This acquisition enabled a boost in valve design, further consolidating Selco know-how and product portfolio.

2004

Achieves ISO TS 16949 certification required for the automotive market.

2007

Expands internationally by establishing a subsidiary in Argentina.

2008

Develops expertise in reciprocating compressor monitoring and predictive analysis.

2010

Achieves ISO 9001 certification for compressor parts.

2011

Earns first large scale contract of reciprocating compressor monitoring and predictive analysis, encompassing over 110 machines.

2014

Starts large scale exports of valves and valve components for reciprocating compressors.

2015

Compressor segment reorientation focusing on added value solutions through development and production of components.

2016

Expansion of automotive line activities, now providing special finish machine services (CNC turning and other).

2017

Development of PPD 4435 tubes (termoplastic for specific applications).

2018

Concludes SELCO’s development of valve dynamics software.

2019

Participates on the 11th Petrobras Turbomachines Forum as speaker of the topic “Valves Efficiency”.

2020

Development of the 2020-2022 strategic plan, setting long term guide lines whereby reorganizing the company structure into Business Units.

2021

Starts Project 4.0 Automation and Digitalization of the Automotive Unit with resources from FINEP and back up support by SENAI.
